Japanese Tea Garden Walking Tour with Bay Curious

Join Bay Curious to immerse in the cultural significance of Golden Gate Park's Japanese Tea Garden, which dates back to the 1893 World’s Fair and holds a sprawling family history that embodies the experience of Japanese Americans in California from the 1800s to today. After a sold-out run, this walking tour returns with actress Sango Tajima leading us through a theatrical history of the garden and the people who created it. Space is limited. Tours run at 6:00pm, 6:40pm and 7:20pm.
Actress Songo Tajima stands joyously and smiling with the Japanese Tea Garden in the background.
