Overview

Margaret Wilkerson Sexton co-hosted by Litquake

San Francisco's Litquake literary festival co-hosts an evening with the bestselling author of The Revisioners and A Kind of Freedom. Margaret Wilkerson Sexton joins Forum host Mina Kim to discuss Sexton's new novel On the Rooftop. The book is about a mother whose dream of musical stardom for her daughters collides with their own ambition--set against the backdrop of San Francisco's gentrifying Fillmore neighborhood in the 1950s. Featuring live songs from the era performed by San Francisco legend Kim Nalley.
