Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour declined to serve in his country's armed forces. In return, the Iranian government denied his request for a passport. Unable to leave Iran, Soleimanpour has sent a script to the San Francisco International Arts Festival for local actors to read on his behalf. White Rabit, Red Rabbit, dissects the experience of a whole generation in this original play. His instructions are to have the script opened in front of the audience and performed unrehearsed by a different actor each day with no director and no set -- Spark featured artists include: Josh Kornbluth, Sean San Jose, Rhodessa Jones, and Jubilith Moore.
