DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with Alice Shaw's current exhibition at the gallery, Gallery 16 will host a special conversation with artist Alice Shaw and Paul Madonna. The exhibition, Landscape Update, explores the tradition of landscape as a subject in both art history and in social commentary. Shaw's unique sensibilities and choices create humorous and poetic moments that capture her view on the world. Similar to Shaw, Madonna's work looks to the world around him.
