DESCRIPTION:KQED joins in the National Education Association's celebration for Read Across America, an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss. At the	Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose, meet the Cat in the Hat in person and share in the joy of reading with a special Dr. Seuss storytime. Included with museum admission. Note: the 11am-12pm hour is open to museum members only.\nAnd don't miss The Cat-in-the-Hat-A-Thon, a two-hour marathon of PBS KIDS's acclaimed series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! featuring two brand new episodes. The marathon will air Friday, March 2 at 8am on KQED 9 with an encore presentation at 10am on KQED Plus.
