KQED Summer Fun at The Conservatory of Flowers
Join KQED in Golden Gate Park from June 24-29, 2014 and fall prey to some of the plant kingdom's most alluring and murderous creations as the carnivores return to the Golden Gate Park's Conservatory of Flowers in their new exhibit, Chomp! They Came from the Swamp. The Conservatory of Flowers' Special Exhibits Gallery has been transformed into a swampy paradise for hundreds of meat-eating plants, like the sinister pitcher plants of Borneo, the glistening sundews of South Africa and the sinuously curved cobra lilies of California. Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10am to 4pm. For more information, call (415) 831-2090 or visit conservatoryofflowers.org.
