KQED Member Day at the Legion of Honor
Join KQED at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, 2014 for KQED Member Day. Rediscover the avant-garde artists of 19th-century France with a selection of highly personal Impressionist and Post-Impressionist still lifes, portraits, and landscapes. These intimately scaled paintings invite close scrutiny and reward the viewer with their charm and fluency. Masters in the innovation of color, brushwork, and composition, artists such as Manet, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, Morisot, Degas, Pissarro, and Van Gogh celebrated fleeting moments and favorite places with their luminous, brightly colored images of their immediate environments. For ticket information and more details at legionofhonor.famsf.org.
Admission is free on May 16 and 17 to KQED Members who show their current KQED MemberCard and valid ID. Not a KQED Member yet? Become one today!
