Oakland East Bay Symphony: Dvorak Symphony No. 7
Dvorák's tumultuous Seventh Symphony, composed at a time when the Czech people were struggling against oppression and the composer himself was struggling for wider recognition of his music, will round out the evening's program. Conducted by Michael Morgan, also appearing on stage will be Mary Fineman, Matthew Linaman, and Wesla Whitfield. There will be a pre-show talk that starts at 7pm. For more information go to oebs.org.
