NerdNite SF: Private Space Ventures Take Off

KQED ScienceA new wave of commercialization is shaking up the $300-billion global space industry. Join Sheraz Sadiq, producer of KQED's documentary Silicon Valley Goes to Space, and Julian Mann, aerospace engineer and co-founder of Skybox Imaging, one of the start-ups featured in the documentary, for talk about how the big, bold ideas of Silicon Valley are helping launch a new era of private space exploration at NerdNite SF. Other talks that evening include: 'The Science League of America' by Joshua Rosenau and 'Harnessing Brain Plasticity: The Future of Neuro-optimization' by Dr. Adam Gazzaley. Doors open at 7pm, KQED's presentaton begins at 8pm.
