MU, A Magical Fable at the JCCSF

MUEnjoy a magical fable based on a Japanese legend about a lonely young man who rescues a mermaid. He then journeys to the Land of the Dragon Queen at the bottom of the sea, and when poison from the Land Above threatens the Sea People, the young man learns that all is connected -- there is just one ocean, and one world. Presented by the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, this world premiere performance is written by The National Endowment for the Arts Fellow Brenda Aoki, with music by Emmy-winning composer Mark Izu and dance by Tony-nominated choreographer Kimi Okada. The times of the performances vary, see jccsf.org for more details.
