Capacitor Performance Presents Okeanos at the Aquarium of the Bay
Okeanos is a dance/cirque portrait of the ocean as body, environment, resource, metaphor, and force. It is a performance to inspire and educate audiences about the ocean. Inspired by the Coral Triangle and California's Kelp forest, this performance incorporates choreography, apparatus, and set design by Capacitor's Jodi Lomask, the voices of oceanographer Dr. Sylvia Earle and marine biologist Dr. Tierney Thys and dance film by RJ Muna. Each night one ocean scientist will present a 15-20 minute talk prior to the performance. A ticket to Okeanos includes admission to the Aquarium by the Bay. $30 adult, $15 child (ages 4-12).
