KQED Member Days at the de Young Museum
Join KQED at the de Young Museum for KQED Member Days on July 26 and 27. View the museum's newest exhibition, Richard Diebenkorn: The Berkeley Years, 1953–1966. Deeply engaged with the unique setting of the Bay Area, artist Richard Diebenkorn profoundly influenced postwar American art during his years spent working in Berkeley (1953-1966). Explore the first exhibition to focus on this pivotal period in Diebenkorn's career with more than 130 works, beginning with the artist's earlier abstract paintings and moving through his subsequent figurative phase. Open Friday 9:30am to 8:45pm, and Saturday 9:30a to 5:15pm.
Admission to the de Young Museum is free on Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, to KQED members who present a current KQED MemberCard and a valid ID at the museum admission desk. Tickets are timed and based on availability. Each KQED MemberCard admits one member plus one guest.
