Intersections Film Series, Part 2

MACLA's next featured film in their Intersections Film Series, is Race is the Place, which is a compelling look at the topic of race in America through innovative spoken word performances. This film viewing will take place at MACLA and will feature a panel discussion by award winning film makers Ray Telles & Rick Tejada Flores of Paradigm Productions and Gina Hernandez Clark, director of Stanford's Institute for Diversity in the Arts (IDA) from 2001-2011. IDA is an interdisciplinary program that involves students in the study of culture, identity and diversity through artistic expression. Also featuring a live spoken word performance and a community reception.
