Asian Chops: Meet Local Chefs and a Sneak Peak of a New PBS Show
Join KQED, Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), and filmaker Grace Lee for a unique food press conference introducing a new nationally televised program, Asian Chops (a working title) for PBS. A co-production of KQED and CAAM, the program journeys across Asian America, using our obsession with food as a launching point for a wealth of stories, traditions and unexpected characters. Meet the production team and leading Bay Area culinary voices and chefs as we introduce one of the most innovative Asian American televisions programs in years. You'll also learn how you can contribute ideas or stories for this exciting multimedia production. Please RSVP at eventbrite.com.
