Join KQED for several sessions at the Educating for Careers Conference, an annual three-day professional development event surrounding career technical education. KQED Education will be there on Sunday, March 10 from 4:45-5:30pm for a KQED hosted happy hour.
On March 11, join us from 10:15-11:30am for Integrating Digital Media Projects into the Core, 10:15-11:30am for Explore Careers in Action, 1:15-2:30pm for Engaging Students in Current Events Using Twitter, 1:15-2:30pm for Biotechnology: Making Real World Connections, 3-4:15pm for Green Energy: Creating Connections with Multimedia, and 3pm-4:15pm for News Ed: Using the News as a Teaching Tool.
On March 12, join us from 9:30-10:45am for Integrating Media Into the Core with PBS LearningMedia, 9:30-10:45am for Virtual Tools from Teaching Artists, 11:15am-12:30pm for Creating Thematic Media Playlists to Support Common Core Instruction, and 11:15am - 12:30pm for Professional Development Resources in PBS LearningMedia.
