China's Terracotta Warriors: The First Emperor's Legacy
Discover why the terracotta warriors are the eighth wonder of the world. Along with over 100 rare artifacts unearthed from the burial complex of China's First Emperor, the Asian Art Museum presents some of the finest generals, archers, and infantrymen from the life-size terracotta army. The exhibition paints the backdrop for the warriors' creation: the First Emperor's rise to power, his quest for immortality, and his complex legacy. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-5pm; open until 9pm on Thursdays. Closed Mondays.
