Nerd Nite East Bay: KQED's QUEST and Black Holes

Blackhole Join KQED's QUEST at Nerd Nite East Bay for a discussion about Black Holes. Black holes have been the stuff of science fiction since their discovery in the late sixties. But now a new, nimble NASA telescope is using its powerful x-ray vision to hunt for these abundant yet invisible, massive space oddities. KQED Science radio reporter Lauren Sommer will be in conversation with UC Berkeley astronomy professor Alex Filippenko and payload manager on the NuSTAR telescope Bill Craig.
