LEVYdance launches AMP, a new residency program that culminates in a collaborative program premiering November 15-18 at ODC Theater in San Francisco, then tours nationally and internationally in 2013. For the first iteration of AMP, LEVYdance invited Sidra Bell Dance New York to create new work that brings together the sensibilities of both dance companies. Through AMP, LEVYdance seeks to build an innovative alternative to the 'single choreographer dance company' model that maintains the individual identity of the artists involved, but shares resources to include a more comprehensive approach to creation. Performances: November 15-17 at 8pm; and November 18 at 7pm.
