KQED is proud to be a media sponsor of San Jose's Downtown Ice, beginning its 17th season in the Circle of Palms in downtown San Jose. More than just an ice skating experience, Downtown Ice represents making memories and building traditions with family and friends. This outdoor ice rink features 32 palms that twinkle with holiday lights. The opening ceremony with Kristi Yamaguchi is November 23, 2012 at 5:30pm. Skating hours vary. $13 for children 11 & under and $15 for adults.
