The SF Film Festival always has an embarrassment of celluloid riches, but this year, they're doing something really special. Local musical genius Merrill Garbus of tUnE-yArDs is providing the soundtrack to Buster Keaton films with the help of guitarist Ava Mendoza (April 23, 2012 at the Castro). The 55th San Francisco International Film Festival runs April 19 through May 3, 2012 at various SF and East Bay locations.
