What could and should the melding of place-based education (PBE) and learning with
mobile devices look like in an educational context? This 'brain trust' gathering brings together educators and students, policy wonks and administrators, interested community members, and local media production organizations to explore the question.

This is part of a national outreach campaign by PBS's Show Frontline for the upcoming episode, Digital Nation. 

The outcome will be an implementation/best practices document recommending curriculum and devices. In additon, we will schedule three hands-on, place-based workshops to pilot our finding in the field.
